I am pleased to officially announce that JH Fitness will be sponsoring the absolute legend that is Will Grigg for the 2025/2026 season.

I've been trying to keep this under wraps for the last few weeks until the plans for the 2025/26 season kick off, & it's been quite a challenge, especially with ‘Freed from Desire’ playing everywhere

Grigg has played for the likes of Wigan, where he contributed to their promotion by scoring 25 goals in 2016. He transferred to Sunderland for a fee of £3,000,000 in 2021, marking the highest transfer fee ever paid by an English third-division club at that time.

He has also played for Northern Ireland on the international stage.

Will Grigg is recognised by every football fan for his famously made song, Will Grigg's on fire, which is set to the tune of ‘Freed from Desire’ by Gala.

Grigg became the Spireites number 9 in 2023 & has been on fire ever since!!

He has been the leading goalscorer for the Spireites over the past two seasons!

As a lifelong Spireite, this sponsorship means a lot to me because now at every home game, my business 'JH Fitness' will be featured on the screen next to him, announced over the tannoy, & included in every match day programme. There are also additional perks, such as receiving his signed kit at the end of the season.

Meeting Will today showed he’s a top bloke as well as a footballer, he really appreciated the sponsor, signed some items for my niece, & he showed genuine interest in me & my business.

All of this happened on his birthday while he was also focusing on getting fit for the new season.
